Intel Leixlip campus located in Co Kildare, opened its doors in 1989 and since then has grown into one of the most advanced semiconductor wafer fabrication facilities in Europe. Situated on a 360 acre site in Collinstown, Intel have invested over $12.5 Billion in the plant creating more than 4,500 jobs.
In 2013 as part of the overall $5 billion Upgrade project which is still the largest individual project undertaken in Ireland, North West Mechanical Services were instructed to supply highly skilled personnel to the Principal Contractor – Jones Engineering (HA O’Neills).
North West Mechanical Services provided the following skilled Piping specialists for a period 24 months:
- Plumber/Pipefitters
- Coded Tig Welders
- Orbital Welders
- Site supervisors
