North West Mechanical services are proud to have completed the Mechanical services contract to the recently refurbished Northern counties Building in Derry/Londonderry.

Built in 1899 and situated within the famous walled city, this grade B1 listed Edwardian style building underwent extensive restoration to become the new Bishop’s gate hotel that it is today.

The new hotel consists of 30 luxury en-suite rooms, “Wig & Gown” champagne bar and restaurant as well as a dedicated function and wedding ballroom.

North West mechanical services along with the help of their team of skilled sub-contractors carried out the following services during the construction

  • LTHW constant and variable heating installations
  • Domestic plumbing services installations
  • Private and public sanitary ware installations
  • Full Natural GAS installation to Plant room and kitchen areas.
  • Air conditioning throughout the building
  • Ventilation services
  • Soils and waste installation.
